i didn't know that about her brother though, i thought the farro brothers started it and hayley started writing for them and then ended up joining as the vocalist? even though the boys were being stupid about having a girl in the band?

as someone who has been the only girl in a few bands i find this ridiculous! i think they just knew she was way cooler than them and would take the limelight lolz

Thoughts on new album?

I LOVE Ignorance. Great song. Like Paramore, great band.

But this album just seems like a formula to me.

I know they are a live band and not an album band which is why I love Final Riot so much but they have written songs for the fans here not songs.

I love this band and cant wait to see them live, Hayley is my hero but listening to the new album leaves me hoping there is another live album.

In saying that, I pre ordered from JB and got the coolest record bag with the CD!

I have been loving Paramore for about a month now.

I'm kicking myself because when I was back in London a whole bunch of people I was staying with went to Paramore and I got asked if I wanted to go and I said "who the hell are they? no thanks".

Then I refused to listen to them for a long time. Finally I started to listen to them when Hayley on idol sang one of their songs because Hayley is one of the cutest people in the whole world. Now I am addicted and becoming even more addicted as the seconds, minutes, hours and days go by.

yeah i forgot to pre-order until the day the album came out so i didn't get the cool bag...

i like the new album, but before i listened to it i had a little talk to myself about how none of their albums will ever be as good as riot! was. i said i understood and put the cd on. i made sure i listened to it at least twice before i made any judgement.

i love it. and i'm not one of those crazed fans that just says they love everything no matter what (i hate u2's new album). there are some tracks that are good and a few that i really really love.

ignorance is an awesome song and a good lead single from the album.

brick by boring brick is my favourite at the moment, and i especially love the group singing at the end - and i think this one was written to play live and for the fans, a-la born for this. hayley/paramore often say they like writing a few songs per album that are specifically for the fans, and i like that. i think this track will go off live.

i really like turn it off - not the best on the album, but one of my favourites.

the only exception is a beautiful song and it was one of the standouts for me on the first play through. i like that they are happy to do some different stuff and it shows hayley's voice off nicely.

looking up is another one that i think will be great live and i also think it was written for the fans to sing along to. i love singing to it at the top of my lungs in the car. people think i am nuts, but i don't mind.

misguided ghosts is beautiful and i think it is an amazing song and am glad that they put it on the album. it could have been lost to a b-side if they were worried that it wouldn't fit into the "paramore sound" and i'm glad they had the guts to put it on.

i also think a lot of thought went into the track order, and love all i wanted as the last track. it's a shame that they jammed decode on the end as a bonus track, because all i wanted ends the album perfectly, but i guess some record exec told them to put decode on the album for all those stupid twilight fans.

conclusion/brief: it's no riot! but i love the album for what it is.

and i cannot freaking wait to see them live. i have tickets to soundwave, but if they do sideshows then i think i would rather go to those than soundwave, cause i'm not interested in of the any other bands and only got tickets in case they didn't do sideshows.

i'd also like them to freaking hurry up and announce the sideshows.
